Spring Mini Sessions in Cantigny Park

This year, my Spring Mini Sessions were held at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois! Three families came, and we had a ton of fun in the stress-free atmosphere.

It was a beautiful day, but that meant there were a ton of people enjoying the park and even a couple weddings going on! Despite that, there was plenty of room for everyone.

The original spot that I had chosen had too many people around, so we switched things up last-minute to a spot with fewer people and better lighting.

Since everyone came on time, we were able to maximize our time to get a variety of shots, including some with everyone, some with mom & dad, and some with sibling groups!

My assistant Katrina came to help shade my camera. This prevents lens flares, which can create a haze in the image and decrease clarity. Thanks to Katrina, everyone turned out sharp!

All of the kids did well at listening. Five-year-old James had a moment when he felt overwhelmend, but he was so brave and was a great example for his little brother!

Dads don’t usually enjoy getting their photos taken, but all of them were full of jokes and smiles! They made the whole experience so much more fun for the littles.

Will and Claire had such a funny sibling dynamic. These two had no shortage of goofy expressions! They remind me so much of me and my brother.

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better set of mini sessions in Cantigny Park! Mini sessions might be short, but we can do a lot in just a little bit of time.

In the end, everyone’s photos turned out so well! It was an honor to document your familys’ stories. Thanks for coming!
